When a couple chooses Desert Rose Wedding Photography to photograph their wedding at Ambrosia Crossing we are overjoyed. Choosing your professional wedding photographer is the toughest choice you are going to have to make when selecting vendors for your big day.
Ambrosia Crossing is a catering hall located at 41411 Addie Gee Rd, Hempstead, TX 77445
Ambrosia Crossing has many great locations to take creative wedding photos. Some of our favorite places to photograph our brides and grooms at Ambrosia Crossing include:
The Tower at Ambrosia Crossing is our go-to location to photograph our couples on their wedding day. When you choose to host your ceremony at Ambrosia Crossing, the Towers stone walls are the perfect backdrop for the candid first kiss, vows, and ring exchange wedding photos. When our couples are about to have their first kiss as husband and wife, I have our second photographer go to the window of the Tower to get the first kiss from high above the couple. This is a great image to add to your wedding album.
The Stone Hall at Ambrosia crossing can host up to 220 guests on your wedding day. A large wooden door reveals a spacious foyer with dramatic rock walls and arches framing the main room. The rock walls at Ambrosia Crossing is one of our favorite locations to photograph your fun bridal party photos.
The Vineyard at Ambrosia Crossing is where we take romantic wedding photos of our brides and grooms on their wedding day. The image above was taken in the Vineyard at Ambrosia Crossing. I had my assistant pull back the bride's veil and asked the groom to kiss her cheek. I used a combination of off-camera flash and a wide-angle lens to create this beautiful wedding photography.
At Desert Rose Wedding Photography we take the time to get to know our couples. The more we know about you and your vision for your wedding photos the more we can customize your experience.
Every wedding day has certain things that are standard, bride getting ready photos, bridal party pictures, family portraits, cake cutting ceremony, and parent dances.
But, just because these events take place at most weddings, does not mean they have to be photographed the same way. Some clients prefer lights and airy wedding photos, while others prefer posed and creative.
The indoor accommodations at Ambrosia Crossing feature a large porte cochère at the front entrance of the Stone Hall for guest drop-off, a valet parking service would be a pleasing touch for any event, but could be invaluable in bad weather.
The serving areas are separated from the food prep stations and a private service entrance. The hall itself will seat 220 guests for dinner with a dance floor. The prevalence of stone and beautiful antiques gives this facility an ambiance of timelessness. An artistically designed Celtic style cross is etched into the concrete stained floor.
An intimate rock alcove with windows facing the west makes a beautiful indoor ceremony site. Crosses inset within the rock walls adorn both ends of the hall, and an artistically designed Celtic style cross is etched into the concrete stained floor.
