The private bridal suite at The Bell Tower on 34th is a great location to start your wedding day. I like to photograph the bride's details such as her wedding dress, bridal bouquet and floral arrangements here. When starting the getting ready photos, I have the mother of the bride help zip up the wedding dress while the maid of honor places the bride's jewelry on her. These images set the tone for your wedding album as well as help tells the story of our couple's wedding day.
The Bell Tower on 34th in-house wedding planner is a great addition to your wedding day. They will help set up a timeline to ensure all of your wedding goals are met. Such as what time to start getting ready, what time do your first look or ceremony as well as how your reception events such as your grand entrance, first dance, parent dance, and cake cutting should be. All of these need to be planned out so your wedding day runs smooth and you don't miss a minute of your reception.
The outdoor cocktail area at The Bell Tower on 34th is a great space for us to photograph the guests at your wedding. The open spaces allow us to take candid photos of your friends and family.
The grand ballroom of The Bell Tower on 34th is our favorite location of this Houston catering hall. The high ceilings allow us to use off-camera flash and a variety of photography techniques to document your wedding reception. Some of the moments we look out for when photographing your reception are your grand entrance, your first dance as husband and wife, parent dances and cake cutting ceremony.
When we are hired to photograph we couples wedding at The Bell Tower on 34th, they usually opt to hire a second photographer along with their main photographer.
We started photographing the groom's getting ready photos. We took the groom-to-be and his best man upstairs and were able to capture some candid images. The best man helped the groom with this tux, fixed his cufflinks and then we took come creative portraits of the groom alone on his wedding day.
After these photos were completed, we went to the beautiful bridal suite to capture the brides getting ready photos. I took a lot of care when photographing the bride-to-be's engagement ring, wedding dress, wedding bands, bridal bouquet, veil, and jewelry.
These small details help tell the story of the couple when designing their wedding album. I love the candid images of the mother of the bride helping her daughter get ready on the biggest day of her life.
We then went on to photograph the couple's first look.
A first look is when a couple decides to see each other prior to there ceremony. We set up the groom with his back to the bride. She walks up to him taps him on the shoulder and sees him for the first time in her wedding dress.
Couples do a first look so we can photograph there bridal party, family photos and couples portraits earlier in the day so that after the ceremony they can go there a cocktail hour.
Each wedding just like our couples are totally unique, the weather, the light, the time of year all play a huge role in how we photograph your big day. After looking around while for the best light and background we decided the best location for their first reveal would be to use The Bell Tower on 34th garden area. This location had the perfect light and splendid background to create light and airy candid first reveal photos.
I then went on to photograph some formal bridal party photos. We always cover the basics when photographing your wedding and a picture with the bride and each one of her bridesmaids and the groom and each one of his groomsmen looking at the camera is a must-have for any bride-to-be or groom-to-be. But after that, we got the bridesmaids and the groomsmen laughing and smiling and it made for really great candid pictures.
Every time I pull into The Bell Tower on 34th's parking lot, I am in awe of just how beautiful the venue is. So I took the couple to the front of the venue and got them to interact and play and laugh, we used the bride's veil for many veil shots, and had them walk up and down the pathway to the venue. This allowed us to not only take creative portraits of the couple but some really great candid moments as well.
